Roberto Madrigal Gallegos
Roberto Madrigal Gallegos was born on 8 December 1967 in Ejido Iquinuapa, in the diocese of Tabasco, and was ordained a priest on 30 November 1997, incardinated in Tabasco. He studied in the major seminary of Tabasco and obtained a licentiate in spiritual theology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty and Pontifical Institute of Spirituality Teresianum in Rome. As a priest he was a formator and professor of the diocesan seminary, parish priest of two parishes, a member of the presbyteral council, a dean, head of diocesan Caritas, spiritual supervisor of the Chapels of Perpetual Worship, and an episcopal vicar; at his episcopal appointment he was head of the introductory course of the diocesan seminary. He is diocesan clergy of Tabasco; he has no religious congregation and no post-nominal initials.
On 27 February 2021, on the resignation of Juan Navarro Castellanos, he was appointed Bishop of Tuxpan, and he was consecrated bishop on 19 May 2021 FOR Tuxpan, so the tenure codes from consecration under the first-see rule, roster-exact, and no separate installation is established. He was still Bishop of Tuxpan at as_of: he was 58, turning 59 on 8 December 2026, with a GCatholic present-prelates listing updated 22 October 2026 and no resignation acceptance or successor news. In the CEM he is listed in the June 2023 directorio as Responsable of Dimension 18, Cuidado Integral de la Creacion, in the Episcopal Commission for Social Pastoral Care; that is the pre-November-2024 structure only, because a find for his name on the Prot. 314/24 comunicado for the triennium 2024-2027 returns nothing, checked-and-absent from that document, not no commission ever. The diocese of Tuxpan was erected 9 June 1962, suffragan of Jalapa, with the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, per GCatholic.
