Víctor René Rodríguez Gómez
Víctor René Rodríguez Gómez was born on 17 November 1950 and was ordained a priest on 21 November 1976. His birthplace, San Martín de las Pirámides, Estado de México, and his status as a priest of the Diocese of Texcoco rest on the Wikipedia tier, the Anexo row for Valle de Chalco, and are flagged as such here, not presented as primary evidence; the priest-of-Texcoco line is consistent with his Texcoco auxiliary appointment, but that is inference, not evidence. He was elected auxiliary bishop of Texcoco on 13 May 2006 and consecrated bishop on 25 July 2006; the consecrator and venue are unestablished, and his education and pre-episcopal offices were not established, neither the 2006 nor the 2012 Holy See bulletin curriculum having been located. A Guadalajara archdiocesan boletín misprint calling him 'Vicente' is never copied, and a Texcoco pastoral-history timeline claiming a 2005 episcopal ordination is rejected: GCatholic and the CEM directorio agree on 2006, both parent-opened. While bishop-elect of Valle de Chalco he held the conference office of Secretary General of the CEM, confirmed by an opened communiqué signed with that title between his appointment and his possession; a conference office is background only, never a tenure.
He was appointed second bishop of Valle de Chalco by Benedict XVI on 25 October 2012 and was received there on 18 December 2012. The diocese was erected on 8 July 2003 by the bull Venerabilis Frater, from Netzahualcóyotl territory, as a suffragan of Tlalnepantla, with its cathedral at San Juan Diego, Valle de Chalco Solidaridad, and 57 parishes in 2020. His predecessor was Luis Artemio Flores Calzada, first bishop, from 8 July 2003 to 30 March 2012, when he was appointed to Tepic; the see was vacant roughly May to December 2012 and no vacancy administrator was established, none being invented here. The roster source for the possession, an MVT announcement of 4 December 2012, is a pre-event item, live-checked in October 2026 and confirmed pre-event, and is not cited as opened; the dossier source is the post-event Mensajero history piece of July 2020, by the dossier-only upgrade precedent, the roster itself unchanged. No book or signed pastoral letter of his was located; his 17 March 2020 Sunday-obligation dispensation is a diocesan comunicado, governance rather than a work, and in any case was only search-rendered. No motto string was found in any tier: the diocesan seal description sometimes surfaced in searches belongs to the diocese, not to his personal arms, and 'Como familia al encuentro de Jesús' is a diocesan event motto, not his personal motto, and neither is shipped.
